“I’m fortunate enough to have discovered this great exiting brand, Vaaru, and for over 2 years I’ve been enjoying riding the Octane 6-4 and simply love it.
The bike I have at the moment has a custom spray job, which took 30 hours to complete. This was done by owner and designer James, which makes it quite something special, incorporating Delucci Retreat and Vaaru Cycles in a very artistic and creative style, even matching my Oakley sunglasses to the frame.
So, what do I do on my Vaaru?? Well, what don’t I do! I have been competing in Road events, Triathlons and Duathlons for many years, and still am.
I run a training camp in central Portugal, Delucci Retreat, for cyclists and triathletes, so I ride the Vaaru with my customers through the Portuguese mountains most days.
Also, I have ridden across Portugal on it twice, last year and this year…
I have also taken part in a triathlon and some Granfondos. There are more to come this year, including a duathlon.
