We’ve arrived at Lee Valley Olympic Velodrome for what’s going to be an exciting day for team TCS. After weeks of training and just one practise session in Portugal the team are preparing for their race here today. The event is a fundraiser for the good work of Great Ormond Street Hospital and the money raised will go towards the essential equipment, research and support for the children and families that are patients of GOSH. We are all grateful for the work that they do and hope this event helps them continue their great work.
The TCS team comprises Gary ‘Flash’ Blesson (Delucci Retreat), James Beresford (VAARU Cycles), Mungo Tennant (Montesogno) and Mark Malone (TCS) and soon they will take to the track for their first training session. Some of the team are naturally a little apprehensive of the race as it is genuinely really steep when you stand above it and look down!
Gordon Ramsay is here today and the team are joined by British Olympic Athletes Victoria Pendleton and Sir Chris Hoy – so there’s no pressure then?!
There’s still time to donate for their effort Please support James and his team and donate to Great Ormond Street Hospital.
