We had the privilege of creating an exceptional 6AL4V Octane 6-4, complete with bespoke paintwork on the frame, forks, seat post and a specially embroidered leather saddle.
The brief was to create a unique paint finish incorporating the customer’s favourite shade of green with highlights in other colours to complement the bare titanium, for one lucky lady was set to receive this bike as a birthday gift, to be enjoyed in Sydney, Australia.
After communicating over the finer details we started work, designing, masking and painting the 6AL4V frame with a unique candy green, silver and white leaving key areas bare titanium. As the frame colours came together it soon became clear that this finish was going to look incredible.
The bike build was finished with a custom built carbon wheelset of HED rims and Industry Nine hubs provided by Play Bikes in Cremorne. VAARU F:1 carbon forks and VAARU V:TS titanium seatpost, Zipp stem and handlbars and Shimano Duraace 9100 groupset.
When the day came for Lyndsey to collect her bike we were really excited to see what she thought of it. Quickly we realised she was a very experienced rider as it didn’t take long to get the optimum riding position for her. She was delighted with the bike and we were pleased to have created a really special example of a VAARU bike to be enjoyed in Australia.
